Is there any need to use the normal turbo inlet manfold other that to line up the plenum with the turbo outlet or could i use a normal HIF 44 manifold as i will be fiitin an intercooler so the turbo and plenum will not need to line up cheers

Are you using the Metro Turbo ex manifold ? If so you'll probably find that besides the flanges being a completely different thickness, most NA manifolds won't clear the ex manifold.

I am using a GT17 turbo and will be getting a mirage manifold for this i am currently only at the stage of collectin parts but i have an oselli touque master manifold that i wouldlike to use on the project as goin to be a show car aswell i the oselli manifold adds that lil bit extra to the engine bay

That's fine then. It should fit if you're using the Mirage.

My opinion is that the metro turbo manifold does aid fuel distribution on blown setups. But plenty of peope use the non-metro-urbo manifold without issue.

Ye have thought bout it but might keep the oselli for wen i change to injection rather than the standard carb cheers

Actually, it's even more important to use a log style manifold (like the metro turbo one ) on a wet manifold injection system. It really helps with fuel distribution.
