I bought these as i dont like the originals. hopefully they are nice and work well. 

 

Are those door hinges? Are they of a different design?

 

they are a straight swap from the original door hinges yes.

Had you thought about getting some decals/vinyl artwork instead of airbrushing? The technology today would give uv resistant decals plus the benefit would be: if you dislike the artwork you won’t have to get it all resprayed and if you sell the car the chances of someone liking your exact taste of airbrushing could be very little. May be a bit late but is worth considering!

 

This is not a car i will be driving often so i doubt ill get bored of it anytime soon and is something i never plan on selling. Almost every part of this mini is brand new apart from the engine block and gear box (and even the gears are brand new) and i've made sure everything going onto it is exactly what i want.

 

I did think about vinyl but i just don't think it has a clean looking finish.

The brake lines are made by BRT Motorsport. I sent them my copper lines and then used them to make them :).
