Some parts of the 'News' seem to be done on the spur of the moment but the rest of the show is hugely staged, still a good laugh though once a week!!

Surely TG is now a tired and dull format that only really exists to satisfy the ego of Clarkson and those other two? They ran out of originality a long time ago, the jokes are the same, the stunts are the same and every time Hammond appears on screen, I feel the urge to shoot my television. It used to be one of the best programmes on TV but that was about 10 years ago...

This.I watch Top Gear for an hour of laughs, entertainment and sexy cars. It gives me all three of these things extremely well.
And the babes at the front of the audience every single week. The only bit that rarely intrigues me is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car. The rest is a barrel of laughs. Tickles my funny bone every episode.
People say it isn't as good as it used to be, but 8m+ viewers plus the worldwide audience tend to disagree.
