An 8-port head on a mini with Weber carbs sticking out of the front it mini porn!!!!

but I would say if you are going to be using it every day, go for the 1293 Turbo option.

Nice to see A series options :withstupid:

I say the turbo, just something so right about a turbo mini. Not saying anything wrong with the 8 ports or 16valvies.


I think any of them will make you happy....you'll probably change your mind a few times between now and purchase time.

Cost wise the Turbo gotta be cheaper???? I haven't look how much 8 port heads are, but i bet they're a pretty penny, as for 16v heads :'(

Just had a butchers on the web, i saw a fully built 1293-1380 with sc box and drops 16v twin cam head...all block machine etc

nearly £6000 :)

question i'd be asking is where is the rest of the car??? :withstupid:

I'm definatly saying Turbo!!!!!!!!

Thanks for you opinions, i have been racking my brain on what to do :withstupid: I'll leave this up for a bit longer and then i will have to make my mind up lol.

Yes but that is a fully built engine.

you could get a the 16 valve kit for 1600 and buy a sc/cr box for about a brand.

all in it will probably be about 3500 if you built most of it yourself.

Im one of those people that likes the a-series engine, but i had to think about other engine set ups since eds starting his swift. but i prefer a-series.
