and i know people are gonna start posting things like "you should get another rear brake light in your back window" but i'm not asking that. so if anyone knows what car is most involved in a non fault accident that will be interesting?

There might be something in it, in that the lights aren't as bright, it's smaller than what most people are used to etc - but I doubt there's something definitive that you could take from it. I think it's probably just really, really bad luck!

You have to consider the sample population, maybe you just know & notice proportionally more Mini drivers.
Insurance premiums are based on these sort of stats, for an easy indicator.
