I sent a pick up to Canada a few years ago.

I think it was Phoenix shipping, all went well and arrived safely.

Try calling Iain at Classicore (http://www.classiccore.com 07740 414140). He arranged for my Mini to be shipped to California a couple years ago (shipping, customs, etc). Cost was approx 1200 quid all in. His website shows USA and Mexico shipping only costs - including east coast Canada (Halifax, Sova Scotia) for 565 quid.

Port Hueneme - that's where I had mine shipped to. If you do move there make sure to hook up with the local Mini club (www.moala.org) and the local garage (www.heritagegarage.com - owned by a Scottish exPat Graham ).
