hey nayone got a guide or could write me a guide to removing surface rust i hav it around my rear window? also is it possible to remove it causing minimal damage to other paint so i can just touch up the areas the piece of rust is around the size of a thumb nail and i'd like to get rid of it before it spreads thanks everyone!

Yes it is possible to do the repair causing minimal damage
If it is a rust scab remove the scab with a dremmel like multitool they only cost 10 pounds
The using a fibreglass pencil (click below 4.99) clean the whole area down to bare metal

The fibreglass pencil is like using sandpaper.. but it will get into all the little dimples
If the metal is shiny and totally clean then apply filler if the bit you removed the rust from is deep and
then celulose stopper (halfords 3 pounds) the cellulose stopper is like a think thick primer you apply with a spreader, it fills tiny dimples and scratches. you do not add hardener to this.
once dry prime and paint.
If it is not metallic you can prime and paint with a brush then rub down with 1200 grit wet and dry sandpaper
to smooth it out.
if it is metallic then you will have to spray it..
