just been down the scrappie and noticed some 185/60/13 tyres. will these fit ok? (i would put them on the back only) as the car is at a sensible height and i would rather spend a fiver than fifty quid.

second hand tyres i would say no dont do it. plus they look like they are the wrong profile and would mess up your overall rolling radius

185/60 x 13's may just fit on a mini, but there are a few points to this:

don't bother with second hand tyres, it aint worth the hassle (safety first) :withstupid:

they will mean some body mods (if they have enough clearance on the rear subby)

I am guessing they were on an XR2 or something???

rolling radius will be wrong too (higher drive ratio)

IMHO, don't bother with em

I have seen 185/55 r 13's (I had some on the old XR2 IIRC), never seen the 50 series but I don't see why there wouldn't be some.

185/50's are gonna be similar rolling radius to the 175/50's (ok, something like 5mm bigger). Nice and chunky too!

Then you have always got the old 195/45 r 13s, mega chunky!!!! :withstupid:
