i have a gearbox for sale, the casting number is DAM2886 which dictates that it is a very early (and quite rare) A+ gearbox which has the bigger idler gear but also has the pre A+ gearset fitted.
the differential is 3:44
these gearboxes were produced on the crossover between the A series and A+ so you have the best of both worlds, an A+ idler gear with the much better gear ratios of the earlier A series gearboxes.
the gearbox is in perfect working order and does not crunch into any gears at all.
i have 2 of these gearboxes but i only need 1 as a spare so i am selling this one.

hi, that one is sold but i have an identical box in the car at the moment, i will be removing it in about 2 weeks when i put my new engine in if thats any good to you.

the box in the car is also perfect, i'm changing it for a GT gearbox.

hi, the other box will be available from next week, i'm just waiting for my cylinder head to come back from the machine shop then i will be swapping the engines over.

this box will be £80 with no offers as it has been rebuilt and hasn't done many miles since the rebuild.
