Hello all,
When taking off my radius arms I managed to sheer 2 bolts (one either side) off into my subframe.
Was just wondering the easiest way to remove them, there isn't enough left on them to use a stud extractor, was thinking maybe use easy outs, or weld a rod to the bolt and try and turn it out.
Thanking you!
Jack

If you can, weld somethinmg on. The heat will help to break the bond caused by the rust.
Don't consider an easy out, if it breaks you are really in trouble, as it is too hard to drill out. If the welded on rod fails, grind the end of the stump flat, centre punch it, and drill about 3mm at first, going up through the drill sizes till you get to 6mm. By that time, the remaining shell of the bolt will be very weak, and may already be loose. If not, use a triangular needle file to very carefully notch it down on opposite sides till the threads are just showing. A sharp pointed tool should tehn be able to collapse it inwards.

cheers mate! I won't be trying the easy out then, I'll go for the welded rod first!
