Can anyone tell me which way up the linkage held by the wrinkly hand goes? It would be even better if anyone with twin HS4s who could post a picture of the assembled linkage set up.

The side with the throttle linkage hole will go closest to the manifold

Thanks Spitz but does the pointy other end point up or down? And what's the purpose of the end without the throttle cable trunnion?

I believe it sits about level. The end with the linkage hole will end up being directly below the guide for the throttle cable.
As for why it's that triangular ....I'm sure it has a purpose, but I just find it useful for tuning when revving by hand...easy to push down on that bit.
You'll find out the correct angle when installing. If wrong angle, you'll not be able to get full throttle....but this will be obvious when setting up.
