Picked up a electronic Dizzy from my mate just days after i bought my own!
oh well, anyway, he hasn't a clue what it is and im not the one to ask about it so i was wandering if anyone here can shed some light!

Its a lucas, the only numbers on it are - 41932D 59DM4 0783.
Rotor arm is blue.

One other thing, what should that connector connect to? its weird because one part looks like a vacuum take off and the other just looks like a bullet connection?

Cheers!

It's an electronic 59dm4. Original on early Metro Turbos and 1300 Maestros 'n Montegos. It needs a separate amplifier module

Nothing is missing except the external amplifier. The connector on the harness plugs into a similar plug on the amplifier. The dizzy will not work without the amplifier.

If you look inside that female hole on the electrical connector you should see a metal sleeve. That is one of the two electrical contacts... the male bullet being the other.

Hang on a mo! Far be it for me to disagree here - but we are talking a 59DM4 dizzy here  - if so the linked module above I think is wrong - that's for a 65DM4...

The '59 electronic module is fully remote from the dizzy connecting via a stepped m/ f bullet connector .....

Can anyone confirm /put me straight ... or link  poster with right item.....?????
