Right this could be long winded but bear with me............................. the Mini we`ve just purchased is missing the heater control valve and various parts of the ventilation system. Can anyone shed any light on how the original system would have been fitted, i.e which pipes go where? The heater valve is the one that fits on the head NOT the inline version! I think that a pipe comes from the valve via the inlet manifold then into the matrix, but what comes back from the matrix and where does it go? I also think that the bottom hose currently fitted is different by virtue of not having a takeoff? Also there is a large (100/125mm) hole in the O/S inner wing, what goes there? Plus up in the top part of said wing is a plastic elbow that leads into the interior, should there also be trunking from this inlet to the heater housing or to the eyeball vents? which incidentally are also missing so if you can tell me how they should be fitted would also be good! I now know that it has MK1 front panels fitted, would this alter the ventilation arrangement? Alternatively does anyone in the West Sussex area have a standard `84 E that I could view? We (Jack and I) did go along to Brooklands today and have come away enthused about what can be done to these little cars, we also took pictures of some models in order to try and solve our dilemma but because of the amount of modifications that can be done it was difficult to know what`s what

Any help gratefully recieved, Cheers, Steve.
