Hi all, i am going to be welding in my coner scuttle drivers side panel
but i would like to know is when i do a seam weld for the top of the panel that joins to the
windscreen panel

how do you know that there isnt any pin holes in the weld because you cannot shine a light from the back

Antone have any ideas?

I take it the scuttle closer is gone too?? If not the have a close look at it as mine looked fine but was held on with 3 rusty spot welds.

If it is gone then just look under the wing in dfaylight, easy.

If not then I would get a small penlight, maglight etc, and shine into the gap along the scuttle, there is a gap into this area, in the dark and see if you can see any light comming through.
