Um yeah, the title sorta explains what I'm asking about. I wasn't sure if I should put it in here or in the technical section..
But anyways.. Basically I'm thinking for the future to make my Mayfair look sort of rally-ish.. But thinking a little outside the box..
My idea is to mount a set of Angel eye spotlights onto a roof rack. Similar to what you might find on a Land Rover.
I'm not asking about the wiring, I've already got spot & fog lights on there at the mo', so that shouldn't be any trouble. However I am worried about where to route the wire(s) to the lights?
I though about running the wire(s) down the leg of the rack & along the gutter, then through the door at the top of the A pillar down the inside of the A pillar & into the dash. Then link it into my existing set up.
I've whipped my current setup off & replaced it with a 'spotlight grille' but a stone got flicked up & broke one of the lights.. I then put my fogs into the grille & thought of this.
Hope I've made my plan clear-as-mud, I was just curious if it would work? Also, is there any legal issues with putting spots on the roof? (I've seen Landy's & lorries that are covered in spots though)..
Thanks,
Sam
