Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me as I've looked around the internet and not found anything particularly helpful.
I'm about to order a new Countryman and want to be able to connect my iPod classic to the stereo using the "famous" Y cable into the USB and Aux inputs by the gear stick.
But, I also want to be able to hide the iPod out of sight so I don't have to unplug it every time I leave the car. (In both my other cars, the iPod is safely hidden in glove boxes.)
The USB port in the Countryman glove box doesn't seem to do anything except for updates to the sat nav etc.
Are there any after market options to solve my problem or is the best I can do to try and hide the iPod in the cargo net on the passenger side of the gear stick?!
Thanks for any help.
Anthony

Welcome.
I don't know any members that have a brand new MINI countyman. We are primarily a classic mini forum you see.
Perhaps you might try http://www.mini2.com/forum/ They are focused on MINIS (new mini)
Best of luck.
