
Replacing Clutch

Hiya replacing the clutch on my daily its a 1987 998 original engine, the reason for replacement is it judders and biting point is at the end of the pedal travel, just a few questions, ive had a look on mini spares and there different sizes of clutch plates, which one do I need, could someone post a link so I can order one, I know im gonna need a breaker bar flywheel puller and a decent socket and spanner set and torque wrench is there anything else anyone can think of I will need.

what type of clutch do you have?
i believe the different clutch plate sizes relate to verto type clutches. 180mm and 190mm
if you have the long arm on your clutch wok, then its pre verto
short arm is verto
once you have identified this we can help you find the correct clutch.

may aswell do the oil seal aswell, really you should use a special tool to remove/refit the clutch oil seal, but i can be done without.

thanks and i have no idea if its verto or not as im in ireland at the mo and the mini back home by its self

Thanks will get changing it next Saturday how long should i leave myself to replace.the clutch
