i use a screw driver (a sturdy one) when i take the old pads out, while the old disk is still on. to push it back in.

This wont work on a mini. it relies on the calliper being the sliding single piston type. a mini is a fixed caliper with two pistons
http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4ab1f47b97 this is the type of tool you need for a mini. The windback tools are meant for use on rear hand braked calipers. it allows the auto adjust for the handbrake to be wound back.

Ive used a big pair of ajustable plyers before or a welding clamp. They both work well :D

That tool will work fine......it's pretty much a fancy C clamp.
I'd save your money.
...also...I leave the old pad in place while pushing the piston back....this way, if whatever tool you are using slips, you don't damage the edge of the piston.

Not changed any on the Mini yet but normally Vicegrips (mole grips) worked well for me in the past
