My lens seals for my 1998 rover mini cooper have basically fallen apart anyone know where i could get some new ones ? i was goin to make some but thought since it was kinda stoping electricity from getting wet i should prob not make some crapy thing !lol

The mark IV seals there are different from the ones on mine, the full lens and seal includes the same seals but the seprate ones seem to be different :S

i see what you mean! you have the altissimo lights then.

try the other mini stores if minispares havn't got them.

double check that you do have altissimo lights rather than the other type (can't remeber their name) they will say on the lens

yeah i do, but nowhere has them !!! and mine have disintegrated ! might have to buy a new set with lenses, i kinda need them anyways since some of mine are cracked

if you are going to any mini shows this year, thats the place to get them. I've seen them every time i've ever been to a show and only cost about £1.50 each from memory.

Altissimo lamps? Not unless your car is Italian, and they're almost exactly the same anyway. The problem you have is that the part you've found is the lamp to body seal rather than the lens gasket (it's a gasket you're searching for not a seal). And the lens you have tracked down is the Altissimo version not the Lucas one. The lens gasket was never offered as a seperate part by Rover and so it's not offered by Mini Spares or the other major Mini Specialists since it's not actually offered as a seperate unit by Lucas. As said above it is possible to buy these individually at autojumbles as the stands there tend to be selling a lot of overstock produced by the small workshops and suppliers who actually make these things for Lucas themselves. Some of the smaller Mini specialists like Mini Mine or Min-its may be able to supply you with this item.

Just found some lamp lens gaskets available on their own on Mini Trailers site.
