my god, what a strange day!

as some of you may recall, i had a rolling shell for sale on here and on ebay. the auction ran to the conclusion and there were a few last minute bids. i spoke to the guy on the phone and arranged with them to collect it tonight.

anyway, this evening the doorbell rang and i opened the door to welcome to welcome the father and son team, the lad told me his name and shook my hand, then i turned to the dad who said, and im rowan. i said i recognise you! i was somewhat shocked i can tell you!

i have to say a really nice guy, and his son was very much like him. i tried to treat them both as normal as possible, we did the deal on the car, shook hands again, and off they went with it.

it has to be said, this beats me previous celebrity mini meeting with wagner at work by some significant way!

what an evening!

yes, this was the genuine, certified rowan atkinson!

it wasnt my own personal mini i sold, it was the car i bought to take the engine out of. i only sold what was left.

sadly it wasnt green, but it did have a mat black bonnet!
