hi there i have a 1995 sprite and i want to have her stripped and resprayed fully but not the same colour she is mainly white with black sports pack and roof i was thinking of going to orange ( rust cover colour
) and black instead. is it hard to change the colour on the documents is it expencive and do i have to keep to a manufacturers colour or am i allowed any i want also does this increase my insurance? thanks alot

just fill in the changes on the V5 and send it off to the DVLA

It MAY change your premium if it is a fancy spedkled/metallic/chaning colour as they see it as more expensive to repair and match. As long as it is a basic orange which is readily available I wouldn't have thought so though

Just cross out the colour on the V5, right in the correct one, and send the V5 with a short covering letter to the DVLA.
