How Do These Dash's Fit?

How do they fit... do they just screw in with brackets at the back??

Rokee style dashes are usually fixed to the centre clock unit in the middle, as this is fixed to the car. Then the two wings are fixed to the middle section at the centre with a nut and bolt, and fixed into the door pillars with self tapping screws at the ouside. They come with trim material to cover the brackets at the outer edge which gets trapped under the door seal.

Only query though, the clock in my mini seems far to 'back' for it to mount to this type of dash? Would the clock not just sit in the dash and then maybe screw in the back?
