Its almost time for my car to go for it's respray, I'm doing all the prep work myself to save a few quid and was just wondering where the best place to get etch primer, high build primer etc from? been going to halfords to get it as they're 5 minutes down the road from me, but at about £12 a can it's not cheap :/ cheers in advance for any help!

My local Motorfactors stocks the same U-Pol high build primer and etch primer, although they charge £23 a can.
Even though Halfords seems expensive, its the cheapest.

Do you have a Compressor and spray gun? you can buy etch primer and high build on eBay, mix it and spray on.

ive been paying the same for etch primer... the upol stuff anyways... maybe try ebay or a local car paint shop? pretty sure its alot cheaper there... i get my primer (kapci) + hardener for £37 thats 3 litres of 2k primer from the local paint shop and then its £30 a litre for the basecoats etc. 5 litres laquer + hardener is £67 for MIPA

P.S try paintwork, bodywork and detailing section???
