I was wondering if the mgb knock off wheels fit a mini, these ones to be precise

If anyone knows how to adapt them or how to fit them that would be great.

Pretty sure that MGB ones are 14" and also the wrong PCD. Midget ones are 4x100 though but not sure on how the hubs are modified to take knock ons?

The short answer is no as those are knock ons. However, knock ons have been made for the mini before in alloy and used by the works in the late 60s. Someone did make replicas, but they rely on locating lugs where the wheel studs are and they are very expensive. O_O The MGB wheels would be too large for a mini anyway, as would the Midget wheels.

Mini wheels are usually 13" max and 4x4" PCD
MGB Wheels are 14" and 4x100mm PCD, so no.

I'm undecided about Midget wheels - They are 13" (so not too big) but I thought early midgets were 4x4" PCD and later ones 4x100mm PCD, but some people on the Viva forum say they're all 4x4". Would be worth searching the Midget Owners Club/Forum to find a definite answer.

MGB's are 4x4.5" (114mm), all midgets are 4x4" (if they had changed later midgets to 4x100, then why wouldn't they have changed Minis to 4x100, at least when they upgraded all to 8.4's?) - opps, just realised I put 4x100 on my earlier post :shy:

This kit would convert your hubs (might need to trim down/change your studs as well)

not cheap though and your stuck with quite thin wheels too

To answer the original question - MGB wheels won't fit a Mini because they are 14" dia. They would look a bit odd as well and wires are very heavy compared with alloys.
