Some food for thought.

Which do you prefer and why? Personally I prefer bonnets without stripes. I like them one solid colour.

What about you?

I like Cooper stripes on a Cooper :) I've thought about removing mine in the past but it's a part of what the car is.

White stripes with a white roof. Any other colour stripes/roof combo is not to my taste

im with you bcjames, thought about taking mine off but I quite like my Cooper stripes now, theyve grown on me. To answer your question, I like them on Coopers, not a lot of other minis I like em on. has to be the right colour I guess, I do however like those stripes that look like tyre marks, theyre pretty cool IMO

If my cooper didn't have them as standard, there's no way i'd put them on, not my bag baby!

See, if I ever got a Cooper I'd want them removed....but probs couldnt bring myself to do it as I'll be destroying its originality. I would want to become known as the Mini Butcher of Hertfordshire :(

hah hah

Amy Shedonwheels has removed the stripes from her late Cooper and it looks great. I just can't bring myself to do it to mine. Even if I took them off and the put others back on, they wouldn't be the same ones

i only prefer them with stripes because mine came with stripes on him..
although i do think they look good with them on, although it has to be a certain look, there has to be some form of arch and alloy wheels at least.
and the stripe should idealy match the colour of the roof
=]

For me they look good on dark green Minis only. Why? Because that was the original Cooper Car Company colour scheme.

i Love that Cooper in the second picture ^^^ was thinking about how it would look on my car with the white stripes back to the scuttle where it meets the window like the originals did.
