As the title say aim replacing the rear quarter panel. I am using a non genuine panel AMD the curves on the corners of the window are not lining up. Has anyone ales had this problem? Any advice on how to fix it. Would I have the same issue with a genuine panel?
Cheers in advance.

Can anyone recommend a good quality non-Heritage panel? Minispares have some for £95 inc VAT are these any good?

Also can anybody point me to a good thread with a replacement with lots of pics so I avoid any pitfalls?
Cheers

Has anyone fitted the Magnum quarters? Only £30.
Yes, as mini93 says there are 2 types(that I know of), one type has the cut point just above the swage line on the body and the other extends up into the pillars. The first type are utterly useless and I wouldn't beg one!!
I bought a magnum one(with the pillars at the weekend to use on my new project. Looks ok, but won't be fitting it for a while.

If they need hours of work then that would rule them out.

All panels are likely to require a bit of a fettle, i wouoldnt say it was hours more than a regular panels would require.

Spot welder if you can get hold of one, plug welding everything was a bit of a pain.

Is the only picture i have really and its not very good!
I layed the panel up against the panel i was removing, under cut and took it back to the desired point.
I dont really know how straight my car is due to it being an ex-rally car, but it just needed a slight ease by hand in places.
Lined it upto the seam edge and just needed a bit of a hammer to the correct position on the door edge.
My driver side didnt require much fettling and fit the door piller edge fine

I am in the process of fitting Magnum quarters to The Red One so have a look at that thread. I have had to cut around the front pillar section to get it to align.
I have seen yours on the Red One thread. It does not look too bad; just a couple of cuts.
If that is all it is then I will go for the Magnum panels as they are so cheap. Who is the best seller?
