Has anyone ever converted a right hand drive car to left hand drive? I have moved to France now and was thinking of converting it to left hand drive, as i spend more time here than the UK.

Yes, I have converted my Innocenti back to LHD as no RHD Innos were ever made and mine had been converted to RHD.
It's very straightforward and you just need a LHD rack, new brake pipes and clutch pipe and a LHD pedal box (although a RHD one can be modified).
If you have a later car with the instruments in front of the driver on the right, you need to switch the instrument cluster over, but the loom should allow for this.

as above, but the nippon 2 clocks dash will need a set of LHD brackets. Might also need a new speedo cable. I went for centre speedo though.

Yes, I forgot the shorter speed cable and the LHD brackets. The Innocenti has the instruments in the special Italian-styled moulded dash which already sits on the left, which is why a RHD converted Inno looks so awful.as above, but the nippon 2 clocks dash will need a set of LHD brackets. Might also need a new speedo cable. I went for centre speedo though.
