Hi again everyone
Its been a while since iv been a productive member of the mini forum after popping the engine in my old girl way back in 2009
After buying a standard mini in Jan 2009 I soon found it was a rot box and ended up re-shelling her with a minivan shell...(yes the DVLA knew and it was legally a car derived van....although i have the Reg and VIN for her I just never got round to sending off for the log book....which I plan on now!)
I eventually got her finished for the 2009 L2B run which was amazing!
Unfortunately she lost her fight against the hot summer we had,and onroute to Mini In The Park she gave up.
Shes been in my garage crying out since then
And now due to circumstances il be disappearing off to Australia in july and need to sell her.
So i decided i need to rebuild her for sale.......

So i thought id start a little rebuild thread to keep me motivated!


Her she was in her maiden voyage!






And now shes like this!





So the time restricted rebuild begins :)

I know I was always hoping to get another L2B out of her but seems to be unlikely
Mabe il be hunting for an OZ spec mini in the near future :)

She was awesome when i finished her!
Still is just needs a little bit of paintwork on the front and a new engine
Il post up some photos tomorrow of her state :)
And my plan is to unfortunaly pit er back to ether a rolling shell or running just so she can be sold asap.....such a shame

Yer i mean iv stripped the subframe ect so all thats in peices but yer basically a new engine....few bits of paintwork and she would be running

Pulled her out today after a delayed start!






just got to build up the front subby and she will be rolling again.
Finally listed her for sale......sad day
