Well at the end of the day everyone is wrong. Its worth what someone is prepared to pay for it! Whether that be £500 or £5000. But then that doesn't really help.

I wouldn't want to put a figure on it til I've seen more pics of the interior, engine.

Jammy hit the nail on the head there!

When i went to see my mini she was looking pretty sorry for herself, i could have probably found a better condition mini for the same money or less. But i wanted that one so i paid for it.

The thing about minis is they are a cult car, enthusiasts will pay top money for good cars. From the piccies your mini looks good (ok haven't seen the back end) but if the mechanicals are all good then definatly over 2k. All i can say is i hope you got a good reason for selling it, you'll probably regret it :'(

Oh and a mini 35 in 1995....surely thats a mini 36? ;)

right, ive just bought mini magazine to compare prices, after flicking through it for a few minutes ive decided to carry the out the neccesary work and keep it for weekend and summer driving!

couple more questions: 1st:how easy/hard is the de-seaming proccess?
2nd: Ive got cobra clubman seats that hit the roof when you try to get in the back! is there a way around this apart from buying new seats?

1. Don't deseam a car, its quite a lengthy and costly process. You have to remove the seam a bit at a time, whilst welding into plating to the back of the seam. And if you crash its twice as hard to repair.

2. I can't think of any other way other than getting new seat. I know the 'Classic' type seats making getting in the back easy. What subframes do you have at the moment? Are they the slide and tilt versions?

you could always bolt them staright to the floor, would give you another inch or 2, wont be able to use back seats though

also if they are the race type buckets and not the smaller classic ones you shouldnt really be using the rear seats as its classed as a health hazard, cant get out quick enough in an accident

the seats themselves fit in easily, its just when you try to tilt them forwards to get in the back they hit the headlining. Nevermind, i doubt i will ever need the back seats anyway!
