:wales: great idea, thanks for your help again Phil. My engine was built by jonspeed, it's actually an ex-works 1293 turbo and not a 1380 as I was led to believe by the seller. They also gave me an accurate build spec which will help no end when it comes time to inform the insurance, aswell as giving me piece of mind with regards to my purchase.

You've been reading between the lines on the depressing buggery post!

I love turbo's. Nearly bought a BRG zeemaxed ERA, but turned out to be alot of rust for a £4,000 price tag.

No probs mate ! What's the spec like then ? if you don't mind me asking.

Phil.

PS. Would it be possible for somebody in Admin to move all archive "Turbo" related topics in to this section ? I know there have been quite a few recently, it would mean that all the useful information for Turbos was in one section then ? Just a thought. :D

When the guy was telling me the spec on the phone I was at work keeping an eye out for the boss so I've asked him to post it to me, I remember lots of +20's and cooper s. It was the ex-works bit that got me, what where they ever used for? (Please excuse my ignorance) :D

They used to run a race series, the Metro Turbo Challenge {i'm not sure but i think they may still run it ?} it may have been an engine built to compete in this.
