When I've sent a refund on things like multiple postage, it's been pretty much instant

It should be instant, that is if the seller has actually made the refund and that they haven't refunded someone else's account by mistake!! ....Which is easily done!! >_<

If the seller has issued a refund it will be in your balance straight away. Unles you purchased something in the meantime it will use that balance
But in the account over view you will see refund ?

But an actual refund from PayPal it's self, action starts after 10 days I think it is

That's not what I've found in the past. Even when a refund is given by the seller and not by Paypal directly it still takes a few days. They send you a notification and the money appears in your Paypal account but in a form that cannot be transferred anywhere or used until the payment has cleared from the seller back into Paypal. It takes a few days for this, then they release the funds. It's all part of the money laundering and scam protection. You should see the money there though, if there is no sign of it at all then something may be up.

If you have received a notification from PayPal then the seller has refunded you. As others have said, PayPal may make an immediate repayment or delay it for some days - it seems to depend on your account status - but the PayPal confirmation is what counts. And before you do anything else, it is always worth checking that the e-mail hasn't gone into your spam box, they sometimes disapear like that.

hello guy thanks for the replys there is nothing on my paypal or email saying anything to do with a refund, this is a pm i got from the seller

It says its in progress.
I think its because the funds have got to be taken from my bank rather than paypal balance, as i used the paypal balance to pay the courier.
is this BS because my paypal account never has money in it, paypal just takes it direct from my bank to the person im paying any help would be great
