Now I understand quite a bit about car audio but this one has me a bit stumped & thought any answers might benefit others.

I want to have 2 subs powered from the same amp but:
Sub a) is a JBL 4ohm SVC - Rated at 300Wrms
Sub b) is an Alpine 4ohm DVC (2 x 4ohm) - Rated at 300Wrms (combined rating I guess)
Both subs will be in roughly 1.05cu/ft enclosures

What is the best way to wire them? I've worked it out to be in parallel to give either 1.33ohm or 2.66ohm but what about the power to each sub, will one be seeing more power than the other?

The amp will be Fusion FE-300D, D-class, 1ohm stable & 475 WRMS(14.4V) @ 4 ohms.

I basically have the sub & amp from our mini sitting around doing nothing so thought I'd chuck it in with the JBL in our Smart fortwo until its back on the road.

It's a 1ohm stable amp so take your pick.

1.3 ohm wireing will of course make more power.
Also wired this way everything stays in phase to each other.

The only worry I would have is the DVC sub being a lot louder and creating cancalation agasint the other sub... But I don't really know what will happen to be honest.

I'd ask this on Talkaudio, much more knowledgeable guys on there than me.

I've posted the same thing on the Talk Audio forum like you suggested but not too many helpful answers yet.

If I wire the DVC sub to give 2ohms & have it paralleled with the SVC 4ohm sub, won't I effectively be giving the 2ohm sub twice as much power? As for cancellation shouldn't being at the same frequency make them in phase so no cancelling?

This is the bit thats got me, i honestly dont know how it would work.

The Subs are different so they wont produce exactly the same output, thus cancellation.
The more i think about this the worst is sounds to be honest... literately I think it wont sound good at all...
