Hi, I have a nice set of Alcan 12" alloys on my 1275 GT, but would also like to be able to fit the original Denovo hub caps to a second set of wheels for that original look from time to time, it doesn't look like they would fit a set of standard steels, they are pretty deep compared to the plastic hub caps that were fitted to standard wheels, anyone done this already or think of a (hopefully simple but neat) solution ?

You can fit them over standard 12" steelies, but those 4 protruding spokes & the centre of your alcans might not fit beneath them. Have you had a go?
