HI, the story starts off in 2006 when the wife says she would l like a mini shorty as they look cute. so we start to look around they seam to be the latest thing on the mini seen. All the ones we look at have been very well done and to the wife very shiny.Summer turns to Autumn we have missed out on couple. I go of to work one morning as you do,on my return I here the word that can turn a man to jelly! I found one ebay and bid on it, don't worry I wont win it!(you should never buy a car without viewing it first) 10 days later we are of to Bradford to pick it up (this shorty dose have a roof but no side windows) it is now December. She drives it home and turns blue at the same time, 70 mph with open windows just above freezing she wanted it she can drive it home.Fast forward to 2012 it's looking a bit tired. We go to the Bingly Hall show and Sarah picks a gear nob, wooden with a skull and cross bones on it.(she dose like Jonny Depp ie Captain Jack Sparrow)This is the staring point for this project.

Yes you do have to climb in the open window. Was a passenger once, had some beer couldn't get out just kept rolling about! Will do a video at some point.

70 mph with no windows, nothing compared to 70mph with the wheelbase of a rollerskate?!??!?!?! how the chuff does that feel, there is a mini shorty at the college i attend, and pushed it into the workshop a few times and it feels twitchy at 5 mph!

She has no fear, or sense! She can't do she married me. The trick is no sudden movements on the wheel. As for people how modify the engines or just use 1275 totally mad. What was totally mad for me was being towed back from the spray shop (matt black) on a fixed bar with no glass at all at 40 mph by a van. It was like the best roller coaster ever! :ohno: Don't start me on the fun of going round a mini round about as many times as you like!

Ok lets start to put some bits back on. Rear lights side indicators number plate the list goes on. Getting the tank back in with the rubber seal in is a pain, had to use fairy liquid, as the car is done in matt, if you use wd 40 you get a gloss finish.

Right the next thing is to get the roof lining in. The thing is that this is a sort version. The width is the same. So why is this so wide. I will have to do a little sowing to make sure the seam doesn't run back. Who am I Gok Wan
