It really is! :D

Someone gave me the idea to plug it all back in again. I miss the days of gaming in the mid 90's. :(

Perfect dark! What a game! Good choice mini cheddars.

My house mate Russ downloaded it onto the xbox a couple of years ago when it was re released. We sat down one afternoon and smashed our way through the co-op game. Our attractive female house mate with epic rack kept walking in our way to which mine and Russ' simultaneous reply was 'LAURA! MOVE!'

We wasted so much time playing old computer games when we were at university. We completed saturn bomberman in an afternoon, Sonic the hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 and sonic and knuckles co-op each in an afternoon. Played tons of smash bros and mario kart aswell.

We got to level 39 of nazi zombies on world of war two. That took us a good few hours.

This might be the reason I didn't do great in the second year of university.

Ha, one's a PC monitor hooked up to my Xbox 360 via VGA. The TV is a hand-me-down that I had sitting in my bedroom doing nothing. Then tonight on a forum we were talking about N64s and I just had the urge to put the TV to use.

Felt weird having to plug in an RF lead and tune the TV in so I could get the picture, rather than hooking up a SCART lead and pressing Source.

Epic, M J W J!

I miss those games, too. :( There's a SEGA Master Collection available for Xbox 360 that I would LOVE to get.

I think my first N64 was the Goldeneye edition with the gold controllers and of course, the game.

They did clear consoles and controllers in a variety of colours as well. Don't get that these days. :( At least not officially.

no i was thinking that game consoles are a lot less gimmicky and boring nowadays, black box, disk drive,

i much prefer having to blow the dust out of the bottom of a cartridge then getting a satisfying clunk as it clicks in. haha oh the good ole days!

Oh wow, brainwave.

What year did the N64 come out? '95? '96? I'd love to fit an N64 to a Mini that came out the same year. None of this fancy DVD/HDD/Flash drive bollards you get today. Goldeneye or even Mario Kart 64 hooked up to a bassy sub in the back.

I was planning on an install in mine with a 7" screen but it would be too much of a battery hog sadly, so may use the screen to finish off the gamecube portable i was building last year

That would be epic. I never had a Gamecube myself but it did have some quality games on it.

If you need any portable Gamecube ideas, have a search for Ben Heck. Reverse engineering genius. Especially with games consoles.
