Excellent more inspiration here :D
Just out of curiosity:
What did you do to your manifold, did you just grind out the cat and weld a pipe in or?

Also, can anyone recommend me the best steel plate and box section thickness and dimensions please as i am going to begin mine when i get back from the USA

Thanks any help appreciated

for the manifold its a standard one with the cat flange cut off, then a large 1.75 inch curve peice welded on to make the rest... i actually stole the peice of extra downpipe from a rusty old ford focus backbox. ill get a good pic of it for you tommorow.

as for the frame, would go for 30mm box, with a 3mm wall. i just used what i had. and i wouldnt copy my design if im honest... ive got much better ones in my mind now its done. lol

its definatly crap. but wont be there for too long... going to make a custom stainless jobby...

the inlet was just trimmed down as far as the injectors then welded some tube on...

far right inlet needs notching and moving over then welding up again.

and the brake bias for anyone whos interested...

Moving this to a new location tommorow... where it will be finished off... its mainly so i can carry on with my vauxhall one.

A shame all the photos have gone, I came back to see the Micra engine in BMC green, I wish I'd saved some of the photos now.
