Hello,
This is probably going to sound like a stupid question but here it goes anyway.
Where is the horn ment to be in my mini?
I have a 1990 Raging Green Mini but I cant for the life of me find where the horn is.
Ive checked where I expected it to be (ie behind the grille) but its not there so I wanted to check that I am looking in the correct place and its not hidden elsewhere before I conclude that the horn is missing and buy a new one.
Ive only had the car a month as a part-complete restoration project so it is quite possible that there isnt a horn.
Thanks

It may have been relocated or replaced with some other like air horns. Beep the horn with bonnet open and try and locate it that way. Failing that, look for a black/purple wire in the loom at the front where you looked before to see if you actually have a horn unit.

No studs sticking out on the top rear of the front panel/bonnet closing panel?

Also check the inner wings but it should be visible anyway!!

I have some horns available so PM me if you need one

The button does nothing (hence the start of the hunt) and I think ive found the cable for it in the bonnet. All the cables were labelled by the last guy but this one has fallen apart, guessing water.
Ill check again around the wing area but by the sounds of it the horn is missing.

Ah, makes sense now! Check the fuses too, cant recall which one it runs off, but have a look at the fusebox, usually on the bulk head.

Check it's not tucked up inside one of the wheel arches...I've seen a couple where this has been the case.
