
Car Failed Mot On Emissions How Can I Sort It?

My spi failed on the emissions is there anything I can do to sort it out?

Depends whats causing it to fail, engine related, ECU related, sensors, Catalyst.....got any readings to post?

It was 0.2 out on the bottom one? It was flickering between green abd red

a service, and a pot of cataclean and make sure he is doing the correct test for a spi

cat cleaner and a good hard run up the motorway before you go in!

No mot or tax so motorway cud be tricky

ive always heard police are quite forgiving if they see your on your way to a mot as long as you could go ring this number and they will confirm of follow me there and you will see!

at work we always give the customer a printout of the emissons, i think your supposed too.

get the cat nice and hot, clean the air filter, blow all the crap outa the pipes (car hadnt been run in about 3 months) put some cat cleaner through the system aswell, it easily passed all all aspects apart from the lambda readings but thats all fine now aswell! thanks for all the advice people :) and hopefully see you all at L2B this weekend!
