Could need adjusting on the clutch cover or could be a cracked lever arm. The ball on the end of the arm can crack and then you dont get the full movement. Get somebody to press the pedal and look for a gap between the big nut in the centre of the housing and the clutch cover. Does the gap close up when you press the pedal??? This should tell you if the slave cylinder is ok or not...
If the gap closes up completely but the pedal is not giving full movement, then you need to adjust the stops.
Could also be a hydraulic problem due to loss of fluid. Check if it gets any better by pumping the pedal a few times. Is the clutch fluid full up??
Hope this helps!

Could be a number of things. The slave cylinders seize up very quickly if left standing for any period. Does the pedal go all the way to the floor or become hard halfway down??

Easiest thing is to just replace the entire slave cylinder rather than taking it apart with a rebuild kit.
