Hello there, I can't find a post related to this already so here goes.

I have clear lenses that were on the car when I bought it, and so were these little red reflectors just above the exhaust cones, do I need them by law??
I'm currently thinking yes as there is otherwise no rear red reflector.
BUT, I've never seen another mini with them?
Help me please, I don't like them
It passed it's mot fine

(this was a while ago so that awful rear brake light has definatley gone!!!!!!)

yes, you need them by law as you don't have any other rear reflectors, either that or get rid of the clear lenses.

the original reflector was part of the lens.

because you have replaced the original lens with one without the reflector, then yes you do need it.

wether other cars have or havent got them is irrelevant......if you want to take them off, you do it at your own risk.

I think there has to be a reflector at the rear and they have been added because the clear lights dont have one :)
Someone will be here to confirm Im sure

Oh I've been beaten :P

Just remember that red indicators may be legal in the US, but not in the UK.
