as above, what could be min thickness of the disc? Couldnt find the number in the Haynes manual.

I wouldn't use them less than 5/16" They are cheap as chips - just fit new ones.

If I could get them from a shop around the corner... I live in a country of 40 classic minis around in total, noone stocks any mini part!
Also, my cheap as chips discs got warped, and my idea is that new discs will get wrapped as well... I will better put them on the lathe this time!

8.6mm min thickness is etched onto my new discs ( £28 for the pair )
