Removed my huge wheel arches to find the below - paint work is good, no rust, just holes. Apart from getting them filled up, then re-painted, which would probably mean most of the car, has anyone come up with something less expensive / creative?!

The other side and rears are the same, ie original holes, then additional holes for the bigger arches, paintwork is perfect.Attached File  IMG_3783.JPG   52.7K   26 downloads

I dont want to fit any arches at all, as I will be going with 4.5 inch wheels.

Stickerbomb it. There is no cheap option to be honest, unless the color is easily matched when applied with a brush, then do the process as you described it.

I'm in the same process..best option would be welding the holes and re-paint..cheapest is sticker bombing, as above.
Fit the chrome trim over the lip, it will took away some attention from the little imperfections. :)

From what I can tell, the wings look un-cut, ie they have the folded lip part that looks like its been done on a press vs being re-created with mole grips. The wheels on the car were 5.5 * 13's. I suspected they had been cut too, but I think if you go to 6 inch wide you need to start snipping away. The ride height was always set normal to high on the hi-los.

Am probably going to get them welded and whole side's and front re-painted. May as well do it correctly. Stickerbomb - made me laugh! never heard of that before!!
