Hey,

I need to spray a new bonnet in British Racing Green. I bought a couple of cans of primer and paint and tried my best but the result is awful!
The paint isn't even and there are spots everywhere. This is my first try and I probably need more practice but does anyone have any advice to make it go better next time? I'm getting quotes of £200 ish to get it done professionally :ohno:

Thanks!

you supply the paint ill paint it for ya for £60 hahahaha
no seriously if its metallic which it is light even coats like said above. trick is to try and get the paint to lay the same way on each panel as you can spray a bonnet one way and a wing another and you can see it on the car.. more with pearls than metalics but seen some like that before.. key to a good paint job is a good prep job.. if its not level and smooth your paint wont be. and then get your laquer on last.. i love 2k laquer and get it on just before it starts to run. thats way its like glass once your finished no need to polish...
