forums are normally quite a good place as the prices are normally quite fair, not sure what forums there are about for beetles though

This place gets worse, what's with the s**** attitudes guys? The lads asking a simple question so instead of being complete p***** how about giving him some decent advice, or better still if you don't have any don't bother replying.

Volkswagen owners club is a good place to start, volksworld also has a good established forum, eBay yields some good well priced beetles too, good look with your search!

Whats with the shitty sense of humour? Granted, what was said was probably unhelpful, but this sort of thing is only a google search away.
I just thought it was funny that it was posted on a classic Mini forum.

not being funny but I did ask what was the"best" place(s) to look, which google can't do. Anyway thanks people for all your help in finding sites :)

I wondered where I had left my fun sponge, turns out it's here.

Google is a good start. Type in what you are after and then go on the many places that come up. Do some research/lurking on the forums and you'll get your answer(s).

Funnily enough that is exactly how I found this place and many of the other forums I frequent.

People need to chill a bit and recognise some banter.

I too have been hunting for a VW Beetle so good luck with that.

You will have to decide which is the best place to buy though. I would argue that sometimes the forums aren't the best place to sell/buy, you can still get the same problems you would get from the likes of eBay/pistonheads.
