So here are my Lucas Square 8's on my round nose British Open.

What are your opinions? Personally I think they look much better than I expected, and I've never seen square lamps on a round nose before.

I had to modify the bumper slightly (It's a non genuine one so I didn't mind) until I get proper mount brackets and a gen. bumper; I used the standard Lucas mounts with some extra rubber grommets to prevent major vibration. Here's how I did the bumper and retrimmed it; Posted Image

What do you think guys!? :)

Also, does anyone know what bulbs these take/where I can get replacements? all the bulb says on it is '12v 55w' with no means of identifying what it actually is.

Why thank you sir! I was a bit sceptical over it when I first bought them as I kept thinking 'maybe theres a reason why I've never seen it done' but once I got them on my car I was well reassured!! Result! :highfive:

Thanks! I'm happy with the result if I'm honest.. just need to get out in the dark now to see what they're like!

I didn't like the idea of mounting them under it, it looks good on other cars but I reckon it'd be too low on mini's, plus I reckon they'd foul my number plate. Thanks man!

Yeah I wouldn't put them under the bumper, I had some and they're way too low to the ground really, they just won't last.

For me square spots are for clubbies only although it has an interesting look - a bit like nostrils!! lol

That's what I thought, especially considering I scrape my front plate coming out of the car park behind my girlfriends!

Thanks man, yeah I heard somewhere they may be those. Want to try and get some newer bulbs in, these seem quite old, might try and find some 55w xenons.

I'd only ever seen them on clubbies or other classics like, but quite liked the idea of them on mine, bit different isn't it? When I found these at a show for the bargain price of £30, I thought 'yeah I'll get them, and if I don't like them they will sell on ebay for twice the price' lol!

they were slightly misaligned when I took this but i think I've got them about right now :)
each to their own indeed :)

the way I see it is if there's people that don't like it, then you're obviously doing something different to the norm, which i like, lol!
