All body work is being carried out by Mintec Mini Spare in newton abbot i highly reccomend them

Now the start of the restoration-picture heavy

Going for a pretty standarted look regarding body modifications, retaining the rear seats and not drilling any holes the only major mods are flip front, de bumpered britax style and tubed rear arches and cut front but retainig the standered no arch look. All flip front fixing will possibly be hidden to make it appear as original as possible.

Complete new boot floor and seat base plus repairs to both arches and boot hinge panel and a few other nastys

Both floor pans from front to back, new cross member, inner and out sils, repairs to rear bins, new complete heel board plus a bit of repair to the front by the subframe mounts

New panels and cross member in starting to look a bit like a car again

More pics, complete front end with removable fibre glass flip front and custom brace bars.

Repairs to scuttle ends, new A panels, cut down flitches, inner wing repairs, shock mount repairs plus lots of other stuff

Decided to go with something a little different and beefy, Matt at Mintec has done a great job, welds need finishing off and tidying up but so far so good







More pics to follow of the front end when its mocked up, pics of the heel board and other metal work

Iam rebuilding the subframes in the next few weeks so will post some pics of the process soon
