Woke up to find a card thro the letter box from the old bill "we believe your Morris Minor (sic) has been stolen etc etc. Sure enough, patch of broken glass on driveway and no car. Told over phone it was found on fire down the road. Waiting for recovery people's place to open so I can see the extent of the damage but doesn't sound good. 1964 mk1 Mini. How could anyone do that?! I am heartbroken.

Early hours of the morning, I don't supposed it was spotted till well alight so not very hopeful. Curiously can't see any evidence of fire or broken glass in road where it was dumped so who knows? Well, I will shortly. Thanks for the sympathy

Council and fire service do a fairly good job of cleaning up nowadays (health and safety etc) but lets hope it's not too bad!

The ******* horrible bastards, I really dont understand why people do these spiteful things, reading this has annoyed me so much, need their heads kicking in, well more than that but id better not say it on here
I hope you are able to recover it
dont know what the worlds coming to when you cant have anything of your own with out have to stay awake at night worrying about it
