It is indeed, will have to visit you and your mini sometime J322OverTheTop :shifty:

Feel free any time, you're always welcome round for a chat and a drink :D If you're interested some time then you could take a drive here when a few of us meet up next time. Me, Steely, and Hegnirst met up last week and went for a drive and definitely want to do it again sometime but haven't sorted anything properly, so if anyone else remotely nearby fancies tagging along next time then that would be awesome! Might be a bit too much of a drive for you, but like I said, you're always welcome

great video.... :-) your mini's gearing sounds really tall compared to mine, the induction noise sounds exactly the same as mine, the twin HS2's do sound great when you're hitting the higher revs.

Sharp ears that man! It was originally a City E, so is fitted with the longer 3.105 diff, makes it a bit slower than you think it should be in the lanes, but awesome on the motorway (for a 998 anyway :P)

oooooooo now i know where you live i can coem and steal your mini ;)

nice video, might go and mount my camera in mine now somehow and make one :D

I was wondering whether or not to include the final stop in to the drive, but I figured if someone really wanted to steal my rust heap that badly then they could find out via other means than my video

Holy thread resurrection Batman! Please don't murder me, but this post isn't actually Mini related...

I made another video the other day, in the same style as this one but with me driving my current daily, a 1989 BMW E30 325i Touring. Thought some of you might be interested to see the 'second in the series' as it were.

Hope you're all having a lovely Christmas  :xmas:

Yep, that's why we own mini's. My 998 is pretty similar in spec to yours, but with a single HIF38 carb and a Piper 255 cam. Drove across the Brecon Brecons yesterday with the pedal mashed to the metal. The induction roar was like a symphony performance!
