as the title says, My daughter is nearly grown out of her baby seat so will need to fit a forward facing seat in the back. I have a seat that fits using inertia reel seatbelts but the mini doesnt have those
Does anyone have any ideas on how I could go about fitting this seat?
I cant fit the seat in the front as the bucket seats are too small
Thanks for any help

I have this problem but solved it by having the buckel shortened to stop buckle crunch, I then just adjusted the static belt until it was tight and the seat didn't move. A pain in the bum to do but once done and you never adjust the belt again it is done. My kids seats do require me sat on them to get the buckels all done up nice and tight.
I have also done the same with the next stage seat (booster seat and built in back for my 3 year old). All seems fine

You can fit the seats using the static belts. I've seen that done in mates cars and they were secure.
He used a recarro one and that was fine, I know at least one other person who's used one.
You do need one with a small base though.
I've got a Lap strap seat for my estate, a britax jet eclipse and that fits fine
The rollcage thing may be an issue though and thats entirely your call.

You need to make sure there is no risk of the child injuring themselves on the cage

I use the standard static belts in the back to hold both my sons stage 2 seat (the belt only holds the seat and then the seat has its own harness) and the daughter happily sits in a high back booster using the static belt.
As long as the belts are adjusted correctly i dont see any issues

Mpi rear belts dont fit without mods, they're 4 point rather 3 point.
