Hey all
I have a quick question about the rust prevention/ repairer solution. Can this stuff be applied ontop of paint, or does the paint need to be ground to bare level before applying? thanks alot

Waxoyl is a greasy liquid that semi sets when applied inside sills and doors etc. Its not designed to be painted over, as on a warm day it gets runny again.
It sounds like you need Schutz paint, which is an underseal that can be painted over...

don't grind back to bare metal. paint the area first then put the waxoyl on top of the painted area

Isn't Schutz is a tar based underseal? I'm pretty sure you can't paint over it.
Are you thinking of Stonechip - like a rubbery paint which dries with an orangepeel effect which can then be overpainted.

Obviously if there is any rust then wire wheel it off then paint and then underseal
